This recipe shares how to make a homemade Hawaiian pizza, drawing a fun parallel to the historic first Bitcoin purchase of two Papa John's pizzas. It includes a detailed process for making the dough and assembling the toppings.
1. Stir dry yeast in 50 ml water and 1 tsp of salt and leave it for 10 minutes.
2. Mix 200g of flour with water and the "yeast stuff" (yeast mixture).
3. Add 25ml of Olive Oil and mix it well.
4. Add another 200g of flour.
5. Mix and leave the dough for 20 minutes in a warm and dark place.
6. Add the rest of the Olive Oil (25 ml).
7. Add the rest of flour (100g) and mix it as good as you can.
8. Split the dough in half.
9. Roll out each piece of dough and move to a pizza tray.
10. Spread the base tomato sauce (2 Tbsp Tomato pasta + 2 tsp Barbecue sauce) all over the pizza.
11. Put ham, pineapple and cheese on top.
12. Put the pizza in the oven for 20 minutes at 350 °F (180 °C).
13. Pull them out from the oven as soon as they become golden brown. (Note: each oven works a little differently)
